First Winter Hike of the 2023 season!

The sun was shining, temperatures from 22 to 33 degrees and very little wind. Beautiful day for a winter hike! All bundled up of course. Broke out the microspikes/crampons for the first time this winter season. First hike of the 2023 year!

It's always nice to get out and enjoy nature and explore a new trail. But it's especially nice with good friends and great weather. Views from Bald Knob summit were wonderful that day.
